Covid Diary "Hinter tausend Fenstern"
For my major project in graphic design at Designschule in Munich, I created a photographic collection of the first quarantine as a consequence of the coronavirus outbreak starting in March 2020. The diary shows my personal experience and the changes in everyday life in my hometown city. It includes headlines of newspapers, the increasing infections worldwide as well as personal diary entries and the development of the virus. As page numbers
I chose the increasing infection numbers of Germany. This work illustrates how humanity has been led to a new
time in which we have come closer to appreciate little moments while a virus changes the world. As a result, this diary aims to expose how we human beings are capable of adapting to unexpected circumstances.
